Fingerprint Authentication Scanners - SM-91M and SM-92 for MOSIP
In partnership with Miaxis Biometrics, NPrime has developed MOSIP L1 (SBI2.0) compliant single fingerprint scanners SM-91M and SM-92.
NPrime provides Fingerprint Authentication SBI2.0 service for both Windows and Android applications.
MIAXIS® SM-91M and SM-92 are FBI PIV&Mobile ID FAP20 certified optical Fingerprint Authentication Scanners. Compact & portable fingerprint collection devices for easy integration with new or existing applications. Powered by USB 2.0/3.0 and supports standard SDK with SBI (MDS) for Windows, Linux and Android operating systems. Ideal for secure biometric authentication and national e-ID programs.
Device Trust
SM-91M and SM-92 devices are equipped with FIPS 140-2 level 3 compliant FTM secure chip and it is securely provisioned by NPrime Secure Provisioning Server to establish trust at device level.
Secure Boot
Device firmware code is cryptographically verified during boot before it is set for execution. A boot with unsigned firmware code would remove trust keys from FTM chip and brick the device so that the device cannot be used further in the MOSIP eco system.
Secure Application
Fingerprint biometric encryption and signature are done within secure processor. Biometrics cannot be extracted during capture process.
